SageMax
Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of PC operations, Microsoft Windows, MS-DOS and a standard ASCII text editor
Completed a Unitary/SBC or BACnet workshop, or have applicable controller experience
Workshop Description:
The workshop begins with a brief orientation designed to allow participants to acquire a basic understanding of American Auto-Matrix Systems, products, and technology. Documentation is provided to the students upon their arrival to the workshop. The next serveral sections of the SageMax workshop discusses the installation of the SageMax, creating a database online and offline, creating trends, and backing up the SageMax database. The last section of the SageMax workshop discusses SPL (Sage Programming Langauge). The SPL section begins with SPL guidelines, understanding SPL commands, terms, and functions, an introduction on how to create, and troubleshoot SageMax SPL programs.
After the successful completion of the class, each student will be able to do the following:
- Understand the different SageMax protocols and how the SageMax related to each from a networking point of view
- Identify SageMax hardware
- Understand port configurations and when to use them
- Create all objects in the SageMax from points to variable
- Create SPL (Sage Programming Language) programs
- Trouble shoot SPL (Sage Programming Language) programs
- Create trends
- Import, Export and Backup a SageMax database
