Although our Public Host Protocol^TM (PHP) and Public Unitary Protocol^TM (PUP) were released to the world market in 1985 as open protocols (the first in the industry), with the adoption of BACnet to our system architecture, our PUP and PHP protocols are used in with our SOLO and SBC product lines to provide customers with an alternative solution for system architectures that have an expressed need for a closed, proprietary solution.
