A Firmware Engineering position is available for an engineer with embedded systems experience.

The successful candidate will have two to four years experience in Product Development using Assembly language (80x86, 68xx preferred) and C. Candidates will have some familiarity with product maintenance, version control and makefiles. Demonstrable C skills will include an in-depth knowledge of pointers, structures and reentrancy.

This position will involve maintaining legacy code and the development, documentation, debugging, integration and support of new embedded firmware in a team oriented atmosphere. Communications and networking experience is a plus. Visual Studio experience is also a plus. A BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.

This posiiton requires a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science experience including the following:
Extensive understanding of embedded Linux, including device driver development, hardware interaction, kernel development and embedded Linux product deployment; strong knowledge of C, object-oriented, scripting and TCP/IP networking protocols; demonstrated understanding of relational database design and programming; low level data transfer protocol experience in HVAC industry such as BACnet, MODBUS, and/or LON; ability to research and learn new technical concepts quickly.

Associate Degree in Electronics is required.

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related discipline) with 3-5 years experience with HVAC Controls and Control Systems. The candidate should have the ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications and a working knowledge of electrical schematics and circuitry.
