While similar to the MC1 in size and overall capabilities, the GC1 not only provides powerful stand-alone or networkable direct digital control and monitoring, it adds support for the SAGE Programming Language (SPL) making it ideal for custom control applications. Typically used for the control and optimization of air-handling units, boilers, chillers, or pumps, the GC1 may also be used as a multiplexer in a large PUP network reporting to a supervising controller or area controller. Control functions include closed loop DDC for applications requiring floating setpoint actuation and fully modulated analog outputs; thermostatic control of digital outputs; input pulse counting; output supervision; and run-time totalization and scheduling.
