SAGEMAX TM

If your application requires stand-alone monitoring and control, or operation in a network—whether a small local network or a large high-performance LAN such as Ethernet—SAGEMAX is the perfect solution. By combining multitasking, real-time operating systems with high-performance microcomputer technology, SAGEMAX is designed to satisfy today's complex communication, monitoring, and control demands. These area controllers are the ultimate in high speed, multi-user, intelligent building control and information systems.

Built on the success of previous American Auto-Matrix® (AAM) systems, SAGEMAX allows multiple operators to interact with each area controller. These sophisticated area controllers can support numerous user interfaces such as advanced color graphics hosts like Auto-PilotTM, simple video terminals, or easy-to-use menu selections. SAGEMAX's internal menu systems can be presented in many different languages, are easily adapted to new ones, and can provide password protection for a list of known users to prevent unauthorized access.

The SAGEMAX is a communications-intensive field panel offering powerful programming capabilities. This product is ideal for stand-alone control and monitoring applications, or it can be used in a small network, several small networks or a large, high-performance local area network such as Ethernet.

By configuring the SAGEMAX properly, AAM controller points connected to the SAGEMAX can be displayed on the BACnet network as AAM BACnet points. Conversely, the SAGEMAX can receive BACnet points from the BACnet network and utilize that information in its programs. A device residing on a BACnet network may act as a client, server or both a client and a server.
