For a small remote network of PUP unitary controllers, the SF1 is an ideal telephone gateway allowing remote control and information access. Typically located within the remote facility, the SF1 communicates with PUP devices over an EIA-485 network. While the SF1's primary function is to monitor and control a PUP network, it also acts as a network administrator for other PUP units, and it can interface with high-level American Auto-Matrix® (AAM) products like the SAGEMAX area controllers through a PHP connection. The SF1 is able to network with other full PUP administrators-like the AAM SOLOTool, SAGEMAX, DX1, and GX1-in a peer relationship. Network security is provided by the SF1's four levels of user access that limit control functions to authorized users. And the SF1 supports the easy-to-use color graphics host Auto-PilotTM through the PHP connection.
