AspectFT-Nexus™ is a powerful hardware appliance designed to combine the power of an AspectFT-Facility™ Server with serial capabilities of an AspectFT-Matrix™. Through the use of AAM’s Facilitating Technology (FT), AspectFT-Nexus can be used to communicate with serial networks populated with field bus devices communicating on protocols such as BACnet MS/TP, AAM PUP, and even Modbus. Support for Modbus TCP, and legacy SageMAX SDP Protocol are also available with AspectFT®. It provides all the same powerful features as any AspectFT enabled product; alarming, trending, extensive custom programming and many of the features that have made AAM’s next-generation framework a recognized award-winning platform. In addition, it integrates with popular internet programs to allow end-users more freedom. With AspectFT, your PC, tablet, or smart device can integrate with your building easily and efficiently.

important building automation information from one single point of entry.
- Integrated MySQL Database server; used to store all historic data as well
as provide third-party interfaces with data from the building automation
system without the need for special add-on protocol drivers.

- Java-based graphical user interface, accessible from any standard
web-browser and does not require proprietary software plug-in.
- Licensed to communicate with up to four Matrix Area Controllers via the
FT-net protocol.
- Master Schedule and Calendar implementation – can interact with
iCalendar format tools such as Microsoft Outlook 2007, Google Calendar,
and other popular programs.
- Simple Mobile Web access - provides mobile (cell phone, PDA, etc.) web
access to building automation data.
- RSS Feeds (Real Simple Syndication) - can be enabled to send data
points to an RSS Feed Reader. (Logon to the Toolbox to download AAM’s
Aspect Viewer)
- SDP Driver - integrates with American Auto-Matrix SageMax legacy area
control devices.
- USB modem connectivity.
