INTEGRATM IT-8000 Offering Opening Limitless Possibilities for Innovation

The INTEGRATM brings extended performance and notable improvements to help businesses take full advantage of the IoT. Part of the INTEGRA™ family, the IT-8000 is an embedded Internet of Things (IoT), BTL-listed BACnet® Building Controller (B-BC) that connects to Cylon’s BACnet® field controllers. The IT-8000 is also capable of connection to and network management of a variety of diverse devices and subsystems using various protocols including, but not limited to, Modbus™ and LonWorks™.

When connected to an Ethernet or wireless LAN, the IT-8000 uses Internet connectivity and web-serving capability to provide integrated control, supervision, network management, scheduling, data logging, alarming, and rich graphical displays through a standard Web browser.

Additionally, updates now allow CXproHD to launch directly within the hardware.

INTEGRATM brings provisioning tools for common processes including updating distributions, and security settings including certificates. The INTEGRATM

  • Integrates with CBXi controllers
  • Works as a DHCP server
  • Application templates
  • Automatically creates BACnet® Cylon network, devices and controller points
  • Launches CXproHD  directly from CBXi controller

Implementing INTEGRATM creates useful functions and benefits to developers. Users who have imported from CXproHD can easily navigate back to the controller and implement immediate changes to the saved strategy. You can now debug, make code changes and download right to the controller.

Benefits of INTEGRATM Include:

  • Multi-protocol management: Integrate BACnet®, Modbus, LonWorks and other protocols into one common system with uniform data presentation
  • Powerful Security (RBAC)
  • Faster development time
  • Easy integration

With simple configuration, tool-less installation, enhanced integration and high-powered performance, the INTEGRA™ IT-8000 controller provides ultimate flexibility in connecting and controlling buildings worldwide.

  • Remote connectivity allows control, monitoring, and management of field controllers
  • Scalable hardware and software make it suitable for installation in small building to large campus applications
  • The INTEGRA-Supervisor software can connect multiple IT-8000 controllers and their data to provide aggregated information, such as; archiving, master scheduling, real time data, history, and alarms, to create a single, unified application.

Licensing

The licensing model for the INTEGRA™ IT-8000 controller is scalable and features standard drivers along with optional I/O and field bus expansion modules for ultimate flexibility and expandability. The INTEGRA™ IT-8000 controller operates with Niagara Framework® for optimum performance.

User Interface

The INTEGRATM IT-8000 is an embedded Internet of Things, BTL-listed BACnet® Building Controller (B-BC) that connects to Cylon’s CB Line of BACnet® field controllers. It is capable of connection and network management of a variety of diverse devices and subsystems using various protocols including, but not limited to, Modbus™ and LonWorks™.

When connected to an Ethernet or wireless LAN, the IT-8000 uses Internet connectivity and web-serving capability to provide integrated control, supervision, network management, scheduling, data logging, alarming, and rich graphical displays through a standard Web browser.

The IT-8000 has a bold and intuitive interface. Modern and easy to use, the platform utilizes HTML5 to provide an array of rich features. The powerful new UI framework makes the user experience simpler and more robust, giving maximum control of data and decisions. The optimized workflow allows users to find and visualize data points quickly based on a powerful tagging system.

A truly open framework, IT-8000 delivers a variety of notable improvements to take full advantage of the IoT, including advanced visualization, search, security and navigation tools. With the now tripled number of drivers available, the ability to communicate with even more building controls offers development of cutting-edge building automation devices.

INTEGRATM as a DHCP server

To facilitate the use of the INTEGRA IT-8000 on an IP network, the secondary Ethernet port can be configured to be a DHCP server.  This functionality will allow for a private network of devices to be run from the secondary port of the INTEGRA IT-8000 without the need for static IP’s on field controllers.

More Data At Your Fingertips

Integrators can provide an interface that empowers users to do more on their own. Because devices, systems and data points can be tagged in Niagara, users can easily conduct a station-wide search of the most important elements in their operation.

With a simple point-and-click or drag-and-drop, users can create customized charts, allowing them to instantly find and display critical information from their desktop, tablet or mobile device. Solution Integrators no longer necessarily need to re-engineer new dashboards each time a customer requires changes. Building real-time dashboards is straightforward and allows for immediate troubleshooting and quickly displays data with attractive visualizations.

Powerful Security

The INTEGRATM IT-8000 carries the federal standard for approved cryptographic modules (FIPS). This security standard is required to bid jobs related to government infrastructure and other mission-critical industries.

Niagara takes a “defense-in-depth” approach to the Internet of Things security. Building on the security of previous Niagara versions, Niagara is secure by default. Niagara 4.7 also uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), making user permissions easy to configure and less error-prone.

Niagara also can be integrated with existing enterprise identity and access management systems, such as LDAP and Kerberos.

Faster, More Powerful Development

Developers will find improved documentation, a rich open API library, BajaScript 2.0, semantic data modeling via tags and other ready-made tools to greatly speed and support development.

In addition, the need for specialized training in the Niagara user interface is reduced—anyone familiar with open Web development can now create a custom UI in Niagara. Niagara ’s new features and public APIs make it easier to extend, develop and build upon the framework

Easier Integration

Niagara ’s templating feature enables tags to be applied to devices quickly and allows applications to be prebuilt against a set of standardized templates which then can be quickly created and reused.

In other words, once a template is made, it can be redeployed as often as needed in other instances. The result is not only a more functional design for users but also reduced integration time across the board.
